Demand Media...Have the Chickens Come Home...?

For anyone that is not familiar, Demand Studios was almost at the top of the content writing food chain as far as opportunities went.  Now, I'm not saying that everyone associated was a bad person but their copyeditors left a lot to be desired.  Ask anybody who worked for DS from 2008-2010.

By 2011, DS began to downsize big time by allegedly going as hard on the copyeditors as they did the writers.  It was also exposed on the old site that content which earned the writer a flat fee of $15 was being sold over and over again. Here is one perspective from a former contributor.

Recently, I had a client I ghostwrite a blog for propose this to me with no extra pay.  Says he'll think about it but if he were half-way smart, he would at least think about karma as it can build up interest.

Anyway, this is what DS is down to now.
